“All three Wizards in one neat package.”
The Wizard Trio was a temporary Legendarycard only available in certain Events. It spawned a Wizard, an Ice Wizard, and an Electro Wizard in a horizontal formation immediately after being deployed without any deploy time. The Wizard will spawn between the Ice Wizard from the left, and the Electro Wizard from the right. A Wizard Trio card costs 7 Elixir to deploy.
Strategy[]
Like the individual Wizards, the Wizard Trio is very weak to medium spells, such as the Poison and Fireball. If both the spells hit all three Wizards, the damage will result in a large positive Elixir trade.
The Mega Knight is a very effective defensive counter to the Wizard Trio. His spawn damage is able to hit all 3 Wizards at once and with the help of the Crown Tower, he can easily destroy them, leaving the Mega Knight almost untouched for a counterattack.
The Royal Delivery, with the help of the Cannoneer or Dagger Duchess can fully counter the Wizard Trio for a large +4 positive Elixir trade. However, the Royal Recruit will get destroyed in the process, so there will be no counterattack.
Since the Ice Wizard and the Electro Wizard deal spawn damage, deploying the Wizard Trio directly onto on small swarms and building-targeting tanks may be beneficial in certain situations, such as with Giant, Lava Hound, Golem, or Skeleton Army.
It is 1 of 4 cards that spawns different troops at once, the others being Goblin Gang, Rascals, and the Goblinstein.
It spawns the most unique troops out of all cards that spawn different troops at once, spawning a total of 3 troops.
Along with the Skeletons and Skeleton Army, the Wizard Trio are the only swarm card whose members spawn all at the exact same time.
The Wizard Trio is 1 of 2 "value pack" troop card that has a different rarity with its corresponding "basic" troop card, the other being Skeleton Army (the Wizard is a Rare card while the Wizard Trio is a Legendary card).
