“Throws a fireball at enemies in the area”
The Wizard is a card that belongs in the
Fire and
Mage traits. It spawns an area-damage ranged troop with moderate hitpoints, high damage, and variable attack speed. The Wizard takes the appearance of a man who wears a blue cloak and pants, a dark brown shirt, wristbands, belt and boots, and has brown eyes, eyebrows, and a goatee. A Wizard card costs 2
to deploy.
Strategy[]
- While only costing 2 Elixir, the Wizard is a great troop, as he attacks pretty quickly and deals notable damage. This allows him to defeat enemies quickly before they rack up damage on the player's troops, resulting on more chances of winning rounds.
- Every time the player upgrades his merge level, he attacks faster, making him even better for defeating clumped units quickly.
- Wizard is only powerful when there are other troops tanking for him, since he's pretty fragile. Set-ups that have a lot of ranged units might make him weaker despite his overall power, unless said ranged troops can cover themselves with their abilities, like Musketeer's knockback shots and Witch's spawned Skeleton.
- Activating Wizard's
Fire trait allows him to deal significantly more damage if he defeats a troop. This can be paired with troops that deal a lot of damage, weakening enemies enough so that the Wizard finishes them off and gets the damage buff. - Activating his
Mage trait turns the strongest troop into a bunny that does not move or attack, which increases the player's chances of victory.

- The Wizard card was added in the 2025 Quarter 3 Update on 29/9/2025, under the
Fire and
Mage traits. On the same day, a Balance Update increased the 2/2
Fire Bonus Damage Per Enemy Defeat to 40% (from 30%), but decreased the 2/2
Mage Troop Bunny Duration to 6 seconds (from 7 seconds). Also on the same day, a maintenance break decreased the 2/2
Fire Bonus Damage Per Enemy Defeat to 30% (from 40%).
