“You shall not pass! Unless there are lot of you...Creates a field of dark magic damaging all enemy troop and buildings within. More damage is dealt when fewer targets are on its area. Reduced damage to Crown Towers.”
The Void is an Epic card that is unlocked from the Miner's Mine (Arena 15). It is a multi-damage, air-targeting spell with a medium radius and various damage stages. The Void targets all troops inside its radius, dealing more damage to them the fewer there are inside its radius. It appears as a deep orange-amber liquid in a large vial. A Void card costs 3 Elixir to deploy.

- The Void is best utilized when one or four targets are in its radius. This will do the most damage for the Elixir cost and in turn, give the most value to the player.
- The Void is very effective against troops with moderately high hitpoints, such as the Electro Dragon, Bandit, Archer Queen, Goblin Brawler, Phoenix, Baby Dragon, and the Night Witch, as each attack will deal a large amount of damage as long as it's the only troop in its radius, destroying or heavily crippling the troop.
- Unlike most spells, it is advised to rarely try hitting the Crown Towers with the Void with another troop next to it. Doing so will greatly reduce its damage to the troop, potentially leaving it in a healthy state.
- If the Void is misplaced, distraction cards like Goblins, Skeletons, Minions, Guards, Spear Goblins, or Bats in combination with a tank, such as a Goblin Giant, Ice Golem, or Royal Giant, can greatly reduce the damage dealt to the tank. This drastic rise of targets in the Void’s radius will heavily decrease it’s damage output, essentially wasting the opponent’s Void spell and keeping your offense potent.
- If the opponent deploys a troop behind the King's Tower, it may be a good idea to try to use the Void on that troop without hitting the Crown Tower, to ensure that the troop is defeated in the process. However, against swarms split behind the King's Tower, it’s recommended to hit the Crown Tower as well for the extra damage, as adding an additional target would not decrease Void's damage.
- The Void is very effective against defensive buildings. Since they’re usually placed far away from the Crown Towers, they’ll be hit by the spell for maximum damage, effectively destroying them over its duration. However, this is ineffective when another troop is placed in front of them, as in this case, the damage of the Void will decrease drastically.
- When countering spawner buildings like Barbarian Hut and Goblin Hut, deploying the Void away from where troops spawn can be much more effective; this will likely prevent the Void from attacking more units and allow it to fully take out the building.
- The Void is an excellent counter to the Elixir Collector, being able to almost destroy it for half the cost of a Rocket. The placement must be very precise, as even 1 additional target can negate most of the damage. As such, it’s advised to place it at the very edge of the collector, making sure to avoid the opponent's Crown Tower.
- In a similar case, the Void can also nearly take out a lone Sparky for a positive Elixir trade. This can be risky to do more than once though, as your opponent will likely catch on and ensure sure the Sparky always has units surrounding it. If using this tactic offensively, do be warned that the Sparky will be able to fire once before being destroyed by the Crown Tower.
- The Void’s attacks do not count as projectiles. This allows the Void to deal damage to the Monk without being deflected back at the Crown Tower.
- When countering X-Bow, it’s recommended to deploy a cheaper distraction card, such as a Knight, Spear Goblins, Skeletons, Ice Golem, Guards, Minions, Bats, or Goblins, to block the X-Bow's chip damage while the Void finishes it off. The Void should be placed where it’s only targeting the X-Bow, any other troops in the Void’s radius will allow the X-Bow to survive the Void.
- If timed and placed correctly, the Void can almost fully counter a Goblin Barrel with the assistance of the Dagger Duchess, allowing just one stab to be deal to the Crown Tower if the Goblin Barrel is placed directly on top of it.
- The Void is a viable substitution for the Fireball in certain decks. For one less Elixir, the Void has the capability to do 1.5x the damage of the Fireball with the same radius. However, unlike the Fireball, the Void is much worse against large offensive pushes and deals less damage to the Crown Tower. This can result in inconsistent utility.
- The Electro Spirit is a powerful synergy with the Void. It’s damage puts many troops, like Executioner and Inferno Dragon, into critical health for the Crown Tower to take the out while its stun helps keep these units inside the Void’s radius.
- Swarms like Minions and Goblins will taken out in one less attack, leaving more time for the Void to affect other units.
