The Musketeer is a Rare card that is unlocked in the Training Camp. It spawns one single-target, air-targeting, long-ranged, and ground troop with moderate hitpoints and moderate damage. The Heroic Musketeer takes the appearance of a woman who has golden glowing eyes, coiffed curly hair and eyebrows, and wears a gold breastplate, chainmail, a team-colored cape, a beige helmet with a gold handle in a similar style helmet as one of the Three Musketeers helmets, a belt, beige shoulder pads with gold handles as their base, and brown boots with golden soles and chains, while carrying a beige blunderbuss-styled musket with a golden trigger and muzzle as her weapon with dark gray spheres as her ammunition. She also wields a turret with a large gold handle and base supported by a metal handle in-between and a long, gold and black striped tube, while having the same hat as the Musketeer. A Heroic Musketeer card costs 4
to deploy and her ability costs an additional 3
to activate.
Ability: Trusty Turret[]

The Hero Musketeer has a special ability accessible from whatever side of the screen was put in, just above the player's card slots in battle. After a 1-second delay, the Hero Musketeer activates her “Trusty Turret”, placing a turret 3 tiles forward of the Musketeer, which is used either as a distraction for regular troops, and as a building to attract win conditions. This turret has a lifetime of 10 seconds, meaning that this is meant to be used reactively as it's not meant to last that long, unless the building is destroyed before the Decay kills it. The ability goes on a 22 second cooldown after the duration ends. The Trusty Turret ability costs 3
to activate.
Strategy[]
- For the purposes of determining Elixir trades, the Heroic Musketeer and her activated Ability count as 7 Elixir, as the player must play the 4 Elixir Heroic Musketeer and then spend a further 3 on her Ability.
- Do not use the ability against an enemy Electro Giant. Not only does it worsen the Elixir cost against him, but it will also lure him towards the Turret, which will cause the Heroic Musketeer to take damage and eventually destroy herself through his Zap Pack. It is better to use her at a range, as either she will defeat him without taking damage, or will force the opponent to pull her within his Zap Pack range by using a Tornado or a Fisherman.
