The Little Prince is a Champion card that is unlocked from the Silent Sanctuary (Arena 18). It spawns a single-target, air-targeting, long-ranged, ground troop with moderate hitpoints and low damage. The Little Prince's ability has him call upon a tank named Guardienne. She appears as a tall, muscular woman who has cyan eyes, blonde eyebrows, and a scar on her left eye, wields a giant sword, is dressed in a gray-colored armor, chain mail, and a team-colored cape, wears a helmet with a team-colored feather, brown gloves with metal guards, sandals and a belt with a gold buckle and silver details, and dons a blonde bowl cut under her helmet. The Little Prince himself appears similarly to the King, but has green eyes, rounded eyebrows, and coiffed curly hair, wears a chestplate and brown gloves, and wields a crossbow with gold platings. A Little Prince card costs 3 Elixir to deploy, and his ability costs an additional 3 Elixir to activate.
Ability: Royal Rescue[]

The Little Prince has a special ability, accessible from the rightmost side of the screen just above the player's card slots in battle. After a 1-second delay, the Little Prince activates his “Royal Rescue”, causing Guardienne to charge directly in front of the Little Prince and knock opposing ground troops away by 0-2 tiles (depends on how close the unit is to the sweet spot) while also doing moderate damage. After the charge is completed, Guardienne stays in the arena until she's taken out. Guardienne's stats are comparable to a Knight, having slightly less health and slightly less damage with their rest of their stats being identical. The ability goes on a 30-second cooldown after the duration ends. The Royal Rescue ability costs 3 Elixir to activate.

- For the purposes of determining Elixir trades, the Little Prince and his activated Ability count as 6 Elixir, as the player must play the 3 Elixir Little Prince and then spend a further 3 on his Ability.
- The Little Prince by himself may be situationally ignored as without Guardienne, he will get 5 shots on the Tower Princess, and 2 shots with the Cannoneer and the Dagger Duchess. However, with Guardienne, they should never be ignored as they'll take a Crown Tower when left alone.
- Like The Log and the Monk, the knockback effect caused by the Royal Rescue ability can affect all ground troops. This makes him very effective against large tanks and can prevent a lot of damage done to Crown Towers.
- A Goblin Giant’s Spear Goblins locked onto the Little Prince can be pushed out of range by the Royal Rescue knockback, causing them to retarget to the Guardienne and saving the Little Prince from certain death.
- Strangely enough, the Mega Knight's jump can be completely interrupted while mid-air, unlike other cards with knockback effects. The Guardienne will tank enough attacks from the Mega Knight afterwards, and together with the Little Prince they can stop him for a +1 Elixir trade. However, if the Mega Knight is already halfway through the trajectory to jump onto the Little Prince, the Guardienne will knock him back, and he will erratically travel forward while mid-air onto the Little Prince.
- Even though he cannot prevent all damage, if placed early enough, it can somewhat stop a lone Golem with the ability. This will leave minimal damage done to it through the Golemites, which can be easily addressed with an additional card if preferred by the user.
- Frailer tanks like the Giant, Rune Giant, and Electro Giant can be prevented from connecting to the Crown Towers entirely thanks to the knockback. The former and the middle will leave the player with a full health Little Prince and Guardienne for a counterattack while the latter is a +1 Elixir trade and also leave both troops relatively healthy for the counterattack.
- If the Giant Skeleton is already locked on the Crown Tower, the player can utilize the knockback from the ability to push him out of range. The Giant Skeleton will then retarget on the Guardienne, and along with the Little Prince, they will be able to defeat him. However, the death bomb will deal significant damage to the Little Prince afterwards, as he walks towards it. A similar tactic can work against the P.E.K.K.A and Mega Knight.
- It can also be used to reset the Mighty Miner's ramp up attack, saving a large tank from certain death, as well as sending the Mighty Miner in a less favorable position in case he wants to use his ability.
- It is also good against the Skeleton King, to push him further from the Crown Tower, causing the Skeletons to have to walk more to deal damage to the Tower. However, this should only be used if the Skeleton King has already activated his ability.
- Cards with knockback and stun effects like The Log, Zap, Fireball, and Giant Snowball can reset his attack speed ramp up, making them good last-resort assist cards.
- The Bowler is exceptionally good at stopping the Little Prince even with the ability activated, as you can align the Bowler to hit both the Little Prince and Guardienne. The knockback from the Bowler's attack resets the Little Prince's ramp-up attack as well, preventing the Bowler from dying.
- The Little Prince has moderate hitpoints, making him relatively weak to strong spells.
- A Fireball is not enough to finish him off by itself. However, any additional damage can defeat him. However, if the Fireball is at a higher level than the Little Prince or if the Little Prince is one level lower, it will be able to defeat him on its own without additional support.
- If waiting to defeat him is an option, a Poison does enough damage that it will fully defeat the Little Prince through its duration for a -1 Elixir trade.
- When compared to other single glass cannons, the Barbarian Barrel and Royal Delivery are less effective, because the Little Prince can use his ability to summon the Guardienne who would save him from the Barbarian or Royal Recruit that spawns from the spell. However, those spells still work against one that has already used his ability, as his cooldown is longer than any other Champion card.
- The Little Prince can be destroyed entirely within 3 hits from the Void, provided that he is the only troop inside it. This is enough to counter the Little Prince for a neutral Elixir trade. The player can deploy Goblins or any other card that spawns at least 4 troops. to save the Little Prince from the spell if timed right.
- Lightning and Rocket can instantly defeat the Little Prince, however at large negative Elixir trade. These spells are used optimally if they are also hitting something else, such as a Crown Tower or support troop, or in some cases, the Guardienne.
- You can bait out medium spells using the Little Prince and place other cards that would thrive due to their absence, such as Barbarians or Royal Hogs.
- While Lightning and Rocket work against the Little Prince, they're a poor choice against Guardienne. As such, they should not be used against her, unless they can gain additional value by hitting other units.
- Even if the Little Prince is very close to dying, you can activate his ability just before he crosses the bridge to have Guardienne take hits for the Little Prince. This will completely take out the Crown Tower if not addressed by the opponent.
- When timed properly, a Mini P.E.K.K.A can fully counter a Little Prince. You must play the Mini P.E.K.K.A directly at the bridge when the Little Prince is just stepping onto it. This will catch your opponent off guard and allow the Mini P.E.K.K.A to instantly take out the Little Prince before they have the chance to activate the ability.
- If the ability has already been activated, place the Mini P.E.K.K.A directly on top of the Little Prince to take him out immediately. Then, Guardienne will be lured to the Mini P.E.K.K.A, allowing him to take her out for a net +2 Elixir trade. A Knight can work similarly for 1 less Elixir, although he will take more damage compared to the Mini P.E.K.K.A. Evolved Skeletons can also counter Little Prince and Guardienne if placed on top of the Little Prince after the ability is used. They're the cheapest counter to Little Prince and Guardienne with a net +5 Elixir trade.
- The Little Prince can be used as a situation counter to the Goblin Barrel as activating his ability at the proper time and position will allow Guardienne to take out all three Goblins at once due to her charge. Although this is a large negative Elixir trade, this can transition into a threatening counterattack as both the Little Prince and Guardienne are at full health.
- Cheap swarms like Goblins, Spear Goblins, Minions, Archers, Bats, and Skeletons are great counters to a lone Little Prince without his ability. The Little Prince does not deal enough damage to 2HKO most of those troops (or 3HKO in the case of Archers and Firecracker), which leaves them enough time to deal damage to him and defeat him. However, they are weak to spells like Zap and Arrows, so use them after he uses his ability and such spells are out of rotation. Minions can also work even if he activates his ability, as they are immune to Guardienne's damage and cannot be targeted by Guardienne.
- More expensive swarms like Skeleton Army, Goblin Gang, and Barbarians aren't recommended to counter the Little Prince without its ability used beforehand. Using these swarms to counter him may cause the opponent to activate his ability, causing Guardienne to wipe out or deal moderate damage to the swarm, leaving the player in a bad position and low on Elixir.
- With the help of the Cannoneer, a properly placed Ice Golem can prevent most damage from the Little Prince and Guardienne, only allowing a few hits from the Little Prince.
- Although the Royal Rescue's range is 4 tiles, the Guardienne has an extra 0.8 tile collision radius, allowing her to reach slightly further, similar to an attack from the Executioner. This can allow her to reach certain ranged troops such as the Bowler and deal damage to them with the ability.
- If the ability is not used, the Dart Goblin can fully counter the Little Prince from the opponent’s side of the map. If ignored, this Dart Goblin will get one or two hits on the Crown Towers, dealing minor chip damage.
- The Little Prince can be placed as a defender in Boat Battles. However, much like other Champion cards, he is unable to use his ability. As such, he should not be set for Defense Towers in Clan Wars, and it is better to seek for other alternatives.
