Card Roles[]
- Tower Princess:
- X-bow: The main win condition. It can also be used as a defensive card at your tower with more health-points, making your defense harder to break through.
- Tesla: The main defence of this deck, and can destroy most units with the help of an ice golem or skeletons. It can also be used beside an X-Bow to kite an opponents troop to it to defend a locked X-Bow.
- The Log: The Log is used to knock back troops and destroy swarms. It helps defend the X-Bow.
- Fireball: One of the main defences for the X-Bow. It can be used to destroy large pushes on defence, and can be paired with the log to spell cycle at the end of the game.
- Ice Golem: A distraction used for defence. It can help break up large pushes by kiting support troops to the opposite lane. It can also be used as a mini tank to absorb damage while other units such as archers and tesla DPS down the heavy troops health. It can be placed in front of an X-Bow if opponent places a weak swarm unit such as bats or skeleton. When the ice golem dies, it's death damage kills the swarm unit, allowing a lock with the X-Bow.
- Fire Spirit: Cheap distraction for some burst damage. Use it similar to spells.
- Archers: A defensive support card, really good at taking out small swarms and can be used as a tank buster while stalling distracting the tank. It can also be used to chip towers when split at the back.
- Skeletons: A distraction for single target units. Can also be put behind an ice golem for damage on the opponent's tower. Helps defend the X-Bow. Can stop high damage yet slow hit speed troops such as the Prince, P.E.K.K.A., and the Mini P.E.K.K.A. Crucial in advancing your cycle when you are at full elixir.
Strategy[]
- Having the X-Bow in hand as your first card is important. As this is a cycle deck, you can cycle The Log, Fire Spirit, Skeletons and Ice Golem to get to your X-bow. Use this as a punishing card on offence whenever the opponent decides to play a tank, mini tank or a 6 or more Elixir card at the back. In this case always go X-bow opposite so that the opponent cannot distract your X-Bow till the tank comes in range of it. Using X-Bows on defense is also a good strategy against a lot of matchups. A strategy against some hard matchups is chaining defense targeting units using an x-bow and and a Tesla pull.
- Try to get as many X-Bow connections as possible during single Elixir.
- In ladder, never play X-Bow until you know the exact deck your opponent is running
- Counting and keeping track of your opponent's cycle is imperative while running X-Bow. You want to count opponents elixir all the time and know the cards in their hand.
- This deck usually runs far into overtime, so defence is key.
- When facing a beatdown deck, outcycle their tank.
- If you cannot outcycle their tank, place defensive X-Bows to chip away at their tank. After the tank dies, you can go in with an offensive X-Bow.
