Strategy[]

Single Elixir (1x)[]

  • Try not to reveal your deck too early. Play the waiting game and force your opponent to make the first move, allowing you to reveal what deck they may be running and how you can use your arsenal to counter them.
  • Use Golem carefully (IF required). Using Golem during Single Elixir shouldn't be on your bingo card, as playing him at the wrong time or just plopping him anywhere gives your opponent an invitation to set up a nasty counter push and claim 1 or more Crown Towers while your Golem gets a fraction of that value. Although this deck is designed to recover from bad Golem placements somewhat quickly, using Golem at all in Single Elixir is a big risk and highly depends on the opponent's deck/their own Elixir spending decisions.
  • Think like a Hog Cycle player. Hog Rider is your main source of Crown Tower damage, and thus you should prioritize getting him up the field and allowing him to deal as much damage as possible. Have your Zap ready in case your opponent deploys a small swarm (Skarmie, Goblin Gang, etc) or constant damager like Inferno Tower or Inferno Dragon. Also make sure to have Fireball ready for large swarms, summoners, or buildings (such as Barbs and E-Barbs, Witch, Cannon, and others).

Double Elixir (2x)[]

  • Be more aggressive with your Golem. More Elixir, more rocky boy. Golem plays are far less risky since you can cycle back to your defense much faster.
  • Cycle your defense to keep pressure. Since your opponent will also be trying to spam their wincon(s) as much as possible, Having your defense at the ready is crucial to this deck's success. If your opponent has an air unit like Balloon, Lava Hound, etcetera, prioritize getting Bats onto the field first for cheap DPS (but ALWAYS have a Hunter on standby just in case your Bats die quickly).
  • Cannon is your best friend. Cannon is almost everything you could possibly need in one 3 Elixir pricetag, make sure you are constantly cycling back to it (especially if you have the Evo) as it is the core of your wincon defense.
