Introduction

This deck is a really amazing defensive deck that blew me through arena 5, smashed me through arena 6, whooped arena 7, only lost once in arena 8, and got me through arena 9. This deck does not work as well in Arena 10+

Card Roles[]

Zap: Your swarm killer, also used for cycling. It can reset charges and sparkies.
Knight: Main defensive card, anti-wizard, musketeer, witch, bandit. The list goes on and on for what this guy can counter. NEVER use him on offense
Hog Rider: Win condition, support him with baby dragon or other stuff.
Musketeer: Main anti-air troop. Do not use her on offense unless you are absolutely crushing your opponent. This is another important defensive card.
Valkyrie: Tanks for goblin hut, backup swarm killer, can defeat wizards and witches, and x-bows(with some help) Can hold off Mega Knights. Very useful card.
Goblin Hut: This is an amazing spawner that can do it all. He is your chip damage guy, rocket or lightning bait, anti balloon, lava hound, and sometimes hog rider. Also good against the Giant Skeleton.
Skeleton Army: Your tank killer, never use him on offense. Don't be like those people I see in lower arenas using him on offense. It does not work. Just use them on defense, and watch out for zap and log.
Baby Dragon: This is another air attacking troop, it is your main defense against minion horde and your support unit for the hog rider.

Strategy[]

  • Main pushes for this deck
  • Hog Rider+ Baby Dragon: Your main push of this deck, but beware of pekka or rocket.
  • Valkyrie+ Goblin Hut: Valkyrie tanks, the spear goblins do the damage.
  • Hog Rider+Valkyrie+ Musketeer: The trifecta!!!! Only use this push if you know your opponent does not have minion horde, rocket, or lightning. So, not a great starter push
  • Usually, let your opponet go first, counter his push accordingly, and push back!
  • This deck's focus is countering your enemy, and attacking hard while he is at low elixir
  • Try not to go for the 2nd or 3rd crown unless you know your enemy stinks and you can do it. Otherwise, just defend.
  • Below is a screenshot of the cards deckshop pro says you will have trouble with. I will teach you how to deal with them.

  • Elixir Collector: Unfortunately, you are in trouble if you see one of these. But, you should be fine if you can defend his pushes well, and counter back. Do not let him/her build up on these, though
  • 3 Musketeers: I don't know why this is on the list. Just Valkyrie+Zap Em' and you should be fine. If your opponent splits them, skeleton army one and valkyrie the other two
  • Mega Knight: Ahh this guy. May his coffee always be decaf. Counter this very annoying dude by placing knight or valkyrie
  • Flying Machine: Use baby dragon on the flying machine.
