Introduction

This deck is a super-defensive take of SplashYard. However, in my time, this has given me a very fine 71% win-rate (a). Please note, due to it's defensive nature, and the fact there are many spells, this deck usually only get's you 1-0 wins.

(a) At time of writing.

Card Roles[]

Tower Troop:
Graveyard: Your win-condition. This card can also be used as a defence to heavy troops, especially the likes of Mega Knight or P.E.K.K.A. Remember to play Poison alongside it when you are using it as an offensive card!
Poison: Your main support card. Once again, it may be used on the defence as a counter to pushes. However, this is a must play alongside Graveyard when you are attacking, to clear any troops attempting to defend.
Zap: Your main anti-swarm card, or anti-charge spell. However, please read the role for 'The Log.'
The Log: Your main anti-bait card. Use this as a backup to Zap to stop any swarms after you may have been baited out your zap. Of course, you may choose which one is the back-up, but I usually use The Log as mine.
Electro Wizard: Your main anti-charge card. Use this to either:

A) Utilise the zap that activates on deployment if they are playing a Tri-Bait deck OR B) Stop any cards that require a charge to deal significant damage, e.g. Inferno Dragon.

Mini P.E.K.K.A.: Your main anti-building-targetting card. It's perfect to clear both Giants or Hog Rider due to its damage and you usually get either a positive or equal elixir trade.
Bats: Your main anti-ground card. In this deck, it is rather efficient in clearing cards
Goblin Hut: Your main chipping card. This is the only card, excluding the SplashYard combo, that has an attacking element to it. It can also be used as a distraction to building-targeting cards.

Strategy

  • Graveyard CAN be used without poison. However, using poison is much more efficient, as it not only protects the Graveyard but it also chips some damage from the tower!
  • Let your elixir charge up. Make sure you usually have 7+ elixir. This way, you can stop any pushes, and due to the low price of this deck, you can normally get positive elixir trades.
  • Play your Graveyard preferably when they play a 5+ elixir card. That way, they will be low on elixir to counter it.
  • Check if they have Poison. This is the only clear counter to Graveyard. If they do, bait it out with a mini-push (less than 10 elixir but still a tower-threat). THEN play.
  • If you want to seriously play this deck, I'd recommend levelling it up. This deck is SUPER strong when all the cards are on level 11+.

Substitutes[]

  • Graveyard - Definitely no as it's the heart of the deck.
  • Poison - Also no as it's half the title. If you want to try a different style of attack, you could try Rage, but it would alter the deck and how it works.
  • Zap - You could try Arrows or maybe Giant Snowball.
  • The Log - Once again, Arrows or Giant Snowball can be considered.
  • Electro Wizard - Zappies, or if you are looking for a different type of attack, Electro Dragon.
  • Mini P.E.K.K.A. - Hard to replace, but Lumberjack does the job.
  • Bats - Minions. Do not use Minion Horde, as this is meant to be a cheap deck.
  • Goblin Hut - Furnace is the only spawner one that has a similar chip system.
