Card Roles[]
- Bandit: Good pressure card, useful for defense as well against units such as musketeers, electro wizards or magic archers.
- Miner: Main source of damage, also useful for destroying elixir collectors or other buildings if you're looking to poison something else such as a graveyard or three musketeers.
- Ice Spirit: Cycle card, can also come in handy on the offense as a prediction for bats or even minions/minion horde when paired with zap.
- Minions: Useful for applying pressure alongside a miner or defend against tanky troops.
- Musketeer: Very useful dps, main air defense. Can help counterpush after a successful defense. Can be replaced by an electro-wizard depending on preference/what decks you struggle against.
- P.E.K.K.A.: Main "tank buster", eats golems/mega knights for breakfast.
- Poison: Big spell, mainly used on offense with the miner, can also defend against swarms in a pinch.
- Zap: Small spell, used to counter swarms or reset sparkys/infernos, retarget X-Bows, you know the drill.
Strategy[]
- First plays should be miner, ice spirit or miner+ice spirit to tank. Cycling bandit in the back/zap on a tower are also viable.
- Play strong defense and counterpush with miners to get chip damage or even get a big musketeer/minions connection if your opponent overcommited.
- Defense is key when playing this deck, unless you need to tower trade, always play safe, minimize chip damage and go for the 1-0 win.
- Bait can be a tricky matchup since you can't answer goblin barrel effectively. Bandit/musketeer to predict bridge princesses to prevent most chip damage. Never cycle your musketeers in the back in this matchup if they are running rocket. If you face bait often but not minion horde or Sparky you can sub barb barrel for zap.
- Playing against X-Bow can be difficult, always save your P.E.K.K.A for them and make sure to poison if needed, never let defensive X-Bows stay undamaged by using your poison or even miner.
- If you find yourself facing overleveled goblin barrel or overleveled X-Bow 2.9 and you're running zap instead of barbarian barrel, the best tactic is to emote "Well Played!", exit the app and drink a glass of water, then come back and hope you play against something else.
