Card Roles[]

Lava Hound: Your primary win condition. Lava Hound is kind of like a 2 in 1 card. It has amazing tanking capabilities, and also has great offensive capabilities. It’s only weakness is to buildings. It does low damage meaning buildings can take their time to slowly kill the hound. After the hound is destroyed, even an inferno tower is decent at finishing off the pups!
Miner: Miner can be used to break Elixir Pumps, and can be used to tank for the lava pups. It also can destroy spawners and be used on defense. Many people view Miner as an offensive card with little defensive capability, but that’s just not true. Miner can do around the same damage as a knight and has decent health.
Night Witch: You may be thinking: “why is the Night Witch here? This deck isn’t a Golem deck.” Well, the reason is that Night Witch spawns bats and bats can attack air and the Lava Hound needs a lot of air support. They can also deal enormous damage while being tanked by the Hound or Miner.
Goblin Cage: Goblin Cage is a great defensive card. The Goblin Brawler is very strong, able to completely stop a Hog Rider, Megaknight and more. If the Brawler survived for whatever reason and you have Miner in hand, tank for the Brawler. Just 1 hit is a lot of damage,
Mega Minion: Mega Minion is a very good card. It’s only 3 elixir, it can survive a fireball and it can deal decent damage to the tower. Great for supporting the Lava Hound!
Elixir Collector: After the Elixir Pump buff, it’s a very good card. If your opponent does not have effective counters, they are in big trouble. The Elixir Pump will produce elixir, and with that elixir, you can build an even bigger and stronger push! The only downside is it can be hard to place it down in single elixir without being punished.
Arrows: Arrows is a great spell. It can take out Minions, Firecrackers, Archers and more. It can do so much more than the Log! And Arrows will be even better after the Log nerf.
Skeletons: Good cycle card and good defensive card. They can also be annoying if the Hound is tanking for them. You can replace this with any other 1 elixir card.

Tips[]

- When the Lava Hound is about to pop, use the Miner to tank for the Pups.

- Don’t make the first play. This deck is best in Double and Triple elixir, like all beatdown decks.

- Don’t be afraid to take tower damage or even lose an entire tower. Sometimes it’s better to ignore their units and focus on creating an unstoppable push!

- If a Goblin Brawler or a Bat/s is alive and you have Miner in rotation, tank for them.
