Card Roles[]
- Lava Hound: Lava Hound is, obviously, the tank and part of the win condition.
- Lumberjack: The purpose of the Lumberjack is to take out tanks, and to drop rage on the Lava Hound and supporting units.
- Flying Machine: Flying Machine is the most important supporting card for the Lava Hound. Its range is great, and it is fast enough to obliterate wizards, musketeers, and more from a far distance.
- Clone: Clone is part of the win condition.
- Skeletons: I don't even need to explain skeletons.
- Giant Snowball: Small spell, obviously. Snowball is also a good defensive card, able to delay almost all cards.
- Heal Spirit: Heal spirit will increase the survivability of flying machines, lumberjacks, and skeleton dragons. It also has the ability to increase the hp of clones by a small amount, occasionally giving a clone another hit.
- Skeleton Dragons: Skeletons Dragons can be used to deal damage or defend zerg pushes.
Strategy[]
- Cloning Lava Hound will pose a massive threat to your opponent's tower. If the clone is touched, clone pups will fly out, dealing damage to anything around them and making it difficult for your opponent to place units and to deal with everything at once. Also, if there is a flying machine behind the lava hound, clone will affect the flying machine as well. Cloned flying machines are very powerful. They have very long range and won't get hit by ground units, so they can snipe defending units or deal huge damage to the tower with ease.
- Lumberjack will be the best defensive unit. After he is played, a Lava Hound push should be set up behind him. The enemy will need to kill the Lumberjack first before attacking the Lava Hound, so it is an almost guaranteed rage on the lava hound. This presents the opportunity to clone the Lava Hound push.
- If you need to cycle something, split Skeleton dragons if you have them in hand. It is much safer than going in for a Lumberjack or a Flying Machine. Heal spirit should, obviously, be cycled as well. Never cycle snowball unless you need to spell cycle in 3x elixir. Generally, though, in 3x elixir your pushes should connect quite well.
