Introduction

Hey guys, my name is fishbone57 and this is the first deck I'm posting.

I got a lava hound in spell valley and I've seen a lot of players who find it boring to play with the hound.

So here is a fast, fun deck to play with. You can edit it and use clone spell for added fun!

The unique thing about this deck are that you can play it in two very different ways, the regular approach and the swarming approach (more in the lava hound description).

Though it has a high average elixir, this is a fast paced deck where you often race towers without any defense. It helped me push from Builder's Workshop to Frozen Peaks and I've changed it a bit since then (after bats came out).

Card Roles[]

Tower Troop:
Lava Hound: The Hound is your main tanking troop. Use it with the witch for support and swarm the tower with bats and minion horde.

If you're not comfortable with this approach, use the baby dragon to tank for the lava pups.

In defense, use it to attract the supporting troops and let your witch and bats/minion horde kill their tank.

Witch: Use the witch in all your lava hound pushes to get a steady flow of skeletons that attack the defending troops even if the witch is locked on to the tower. Also great on defense against prince, lumberjack, mega minion and knight.
Baby Dragon: Use the baby dragon to help remove minions and minion hordes during your push. A very useful card also decent on defense. Can be replaced with mega minion if you're using the swarming approach
Lightning: Use this to reset sparkies near your opponents tower. Two or three shots on a tower will reduce its health significantly. Use it to counter troops defending your push like wizards and musketeers.
Archers: A cheap all rounder card, use it primarily on defense to remove mega minions and baby dragons or kite P.E.K.K.A.s. Nothing more to be said.
Minion Horde: The minion horde can be used to counter balloons, graveyard, sparkies, etc. In this deck, don't use them in your push, save them for defending the other lane (unless you're swarming the opponent's tower (more in the lava hound description)).
Fire Spirits: A very cheap but versatile card. Use it to kill minion hordes (as they're the perfect counter for the lava hound). In defense, use the to kill swarms and take the hits from sparkies charging princes.
Bats: The bats are a chaep but powerful card. When you don't have minion horde in your hand, these little critters are ideal for shutting down hogs and balloons. Send them in late in your pushes so that the y wipe out your opponent's defense.

They can also be used as bait for zap/arrows so you can play minion horde.

Strategy[]

  • Don't play first unless you have a witch and a lava hound and witch in your starting hand
  • Wait for double elixir and start a push with witch, baby dragon, and lava hound. Use the other cards as you get them. Save the minion horde or bats for defense.
  • .Make sure you have enough elixir to lightning your opponent's defending troops!!!
  • Lightning all buildings except tombstone immidiately.
