Introduction

Basically Elite Barbarians Rage but not spamming it when you cycle back to it. Mostly defensive deck that punishes opponents for rushing or building up a big push in the back.

More Statistics: Go to Deck Builder

Card Roles[]

Elite Barbarians: Your main win condition and tank killer.
Archers: A solid all-around counter to almost anything.
Tesla: The building of the deck, basically a Cannon that can hit air too.
Fireball: Used to severely wound or kill Fireballies or finish off weakened troops.
The Log: Goblin Barrel counter, also synergizes with Fireball very well.
Rage: A good support to Elite Barbarians, though not necessary in every match.
Heal Spirit: Another support card for Elite Barbarians, mostly used to heal on defense though.
Ice Golem: Overall defensive card, along with being a good swarm counter if needed.

Strategy[]

  • Never, EVER, rush unless you know your opponent is down elixir or doesn't have an Elite Barbarians counter on their hand. Despite how powerful it can be, Elite Barbarians with Rage is not a combo you always use in this deck.
  • Use Elite Barbarians to try and pull out any cards out of them, even if it means a negative elixir trade. Archers, Tesla and Ice Golem will defend almost anything and any remaining troops can counter attack, forcing out more cards from the opponent.
  • If needed, Rage can be really handy on defense, significantly boosting your defenses attack speed for 2 Elixir.
  • If you can add Heal Spirit and Rage to an Elite Barbarian push, most defenses will be torn to pieces. In fact, Rage Elite Barbarians with Heal Spirit take a Mega Knight or P.E.K.K.A down to half health.
  • Don't be afraid of using Elite Barbarians on defense, even if you have a window to rush. They aren't that bad, surviving most spells besides a Rocket. Since most tanks cost 5 Elixir or more, using Elite Barbarians alone could be better than rushing the other lane with them, as your opponent will have even less Elixir to defend.

Substitutions[]

Elite Barbarians: Can't be replaced.

Archers: Musketeer, Dart Goblin or Mega Minion, cheap air counters.

Tesla: Tombstone, Bomb Tower, Furnace or Cannon, buildings that can defend like Tesla for a similar price.

Fireball: Poison or Arrows, all-around reliable spells.

The Log: Arrows, Zap, Barbarian Barrel or Giant Snowball, cheap swarm counters.

Rage: Really any other cycle card or Ebarb support, it's only in the deck as a surprise move.

Heal Spirit: Can't be replaced.

Ice Golem: Knight, Valkyrie, Dark Prince and Mini P.E.K.K.A, cheap minitanks, preferably ones that can splash.

Important Matchups[]

These are the most common decks you'll find in battles, any Wildcards should be dealt with appropriately with your defensive cards if they aren't listed here, such as X-Bow Beatdown or something.

Cycle: Not much of a problem if you can keep up with Tesla, Archers, spells and Ice Golem. Only problem would be actually pushing through their defense. Just cycle your defenses until you see an opening to push with Ebarbs, but do not add Rage to them or you'll be down a lot of Elixir. Spell cycle if you need to.

Bait: You have as many problems with it as most decks since you have similar spells as them, only difference being you have to use Ebarbs or spell cycle to win. Play like you would against these decks: save your Log for their Goblin Barrel and use Tesla or Archers to take care of Princess or Goblin Gang.

Beatdown: An Ebarb deck users dream. If they put their tank in the back, they're vulnerable to your Ebarbs. If they wait for them, they'll leak Elixir. Just try not to screw up your Tesla placement in Double Elixir and you should be fine, especially if they are running P.E.K.K.A.

Siege: Against Icebow, you're about as screwed as anyone else unless the user sucks at X-Bow. Normal X-Bow decks however are somewhat easy to deal with. Ebarbs do damage while Ice Golem wipes out swarms and tanks the X-Bow. Mortar is the same thing, except for Ice Golem placement.

Control: Bowler wrecks Ebarbs, Archers die in Poison when countering Graveyard, Tesla can't attack fast enough against Graveya- okay you get the point, if you're up against Graveyard Control you're mostly screwed. Control is your worst enemy even without Splashyard troops, so spell cycling will be your win condition against these decks.

Air Beatdown: Even better matchup than Beatdown, only counter they have to your Ebarbs should be Skeleton Army or Tombstone, so prediction Log and you win the game.

Dual Lane: Your cards can be split too, and Tesla has enough Health to tank the Royal Hogs.

Three Musketeers: Ebarbs can take on 3M in a single lane, unless they're backed up by something that already counters Ebarbs. Not too difficult to take on, but be wary of their bait tactics to fish out your Ebarbs or Fireball.

Royal Giant: Your deck practically counters Royal Giant entirely, besides Skeleton Dragons or Furnace but that's all that can harm your Ebarbs. Just don't let the Royal GG connect and you'll be fine, unless they have Bomber or something behind RG.

Bridge Spam: Ebarbs and Tesla counter everything besides the Dark Prince, no troubles here unless you are caught without Elixir.

Spawners: A nightmare, but Ice Golem Ebarbs works well since they shouldn't have any swarms besides Goblin Hut or Barbarian Hut.

Wildcards: These are the weird decks you see sometimes, so I can't really give advice on how to counter them beforehand, just some advice you'd hear from any player better than me: if they're running non-cycle Hog, save your Tesla for them; if they're running Rocket Cycle, take advantage of the fact they have to either Rocket your Ebarbs or the tower. This deck has ridiculous defensive potential, Lumberloon or P.E.K.K.A cycle, you should have the ability to counter them effectively.

Final Words[]

I have nothing to say about you using this. Just enjoy the non-toxic deck while it lasts I guess?
