Introduction

Force the opponent to make a move and punish them severely. Helps to counter a lot of Meta decks such as Lumberloon, Mega knight and E-barb spam, Golem decks, and can even be used against Hog cycle or Log bait. Warning, extremely toxic to use.

Card Roles[]

Dark Prince: This is your way of pressuring the opponent. I used to run valkyrie, but this synergizes with hog rider very well as it deals very good damage.
Elite Barbarians: This is your tank killer and main counter attack. Deals massive damage and can be paired with hog rider to shut down buildings. (This is pretty risky so be sure they don't have a mega knight.)
Rage: This is your synergy with mostly high dps troops like E-barbs, DP, and Hog rider. Very useful with E-barbs as it helps to take down mini tanks in a heartbeat. Can be used very well with crown tower and inferno dragon to take down enemy tanks
Hog Rider: Main win condition used for pressuring the opponent
Zap: Zap - very good if you're pushing with ebarbs to counter their swarms.
The Log: Good against goblin barrel and predicting swarms. Can be used to help knockback charge troops and fast troops like Mini pekka.
Inferno Dragon: Good tank killer and can shut down balloon. Put down DP or Ebarbs in front to prevent reset of attack
Wizard: Wizard - Great against swarm units like minion horde and can be used to make big pushes against your enemy. Also very good on defense against witches and e barbs if placed correctly and used with log.

Strategy[]

  • Possible counters - PEKKA is a very big counter against this deck. If you don't place your ebarbs or your inferno dragon right, that tower is going to go down real quick, especially if they have e wiz and wiz.
  • Mega knight - Patience is Key! Don't send your ebarbs like a fool. Wait until you are sure that the opponent is low on elixir or split the E-barbs on top of the mega knight to destroy it.
  • Rocket is a very good counter against your ebarbs, so you don't want to push simply with them if you're asking for a neutral elixir trade. If an opponent successfully defends against your e-barbs with rocket, do not panic and set up another push with wizard, DP, etc.
  • First 3 Minutes: If hog cycle is not in your 1st rotation, here are your possible routes:
  • Dark Prince: Put in back of the arena to force opponent to make a move
  • E-barbs: Definitely split them in the middle of the arena to bait out mega knight or other swarm troops
  • Spells: Hold on to them unless a cycle is needed to counter a push
  • Wizard: Place it in the back of the arena. Push with hog rider or Dark Prince in front
  • Inferno Dragon: Hold onto it for balloon or tanks
  • The main idea is to apply as much pressure as you can to the opponent to force out expensive cards such as Mega knight in order to make a strong push
  • If you know Mega knight is wasted, EBarbs and Dark prince in the back is nearly impossible to defend. Make sure to have any additional spells on hand. In 2x elixir, definitely put wizard in the back to provide some back up against things like minion horde.
  • If wizard and e-wiz are behind a pekka, put your e-barbs behind the pekka. Not too close where the e-barbs just instantly die, but not too far that the pekka will lock onto your tower. Inferno dragon in front of pekka to take care of it.
  • Witch behind Tank, This is a little more difficult depending on the Tank. If it's a pekka, place the dp behind the witch and distract the pekka with e-barbs or use inferno dragon.

How to use against other decks[]

2.6 Hog Cycle:[]

The Key to winning against hog cycle is not to spam at the bridge. Of course, defending against their main win condition Hog rider will require you to properly place down E-barbs, and most likely they'll defend your E-barbs push pretty well. In single elixir, focus on predicting their hog and making counter pushes with E-barbs, DP, or Hog rider. Make sure to support with spells against their skeletons. They'll most likely try to kite your counter pushes with canon, skeletons, or ice golem and whittle them down with spells and musk. They'll often use fireball against your wizard or e-barbs, but here is the thing, they can't do it all at once. This is when you go all out in double elixir. I recommend if wizard is in your hand, play him in the back to possible bait out fireball. If they send a hog alone or with an ice golem, use e-barbs to defend against it. By this time, you'll have enough for either DP or hog rider, paired with a spell. Now you go all in, With dark prince and e-barbs, it will destroy anything including ice golem, skeletons, and their canon. This is also why you should put down hog rider down as their canon would be taken out by the latter. Rage is highly recommended as they'll have less time to react. Key word, predict. Maintain patience and find an opening where they spend too much elixir trying to defend your offensive cards.

Classic Log Bait:[]

Although it seems that the classic log bait deck can counter a lot of your troops such as rocket against e-barbs, and inferno tower against hog rider, the key is too basically to overwhelm the opponent with split lane pushes. Make sure to save the log only for the goblin barrel unless they . If you truly want to be based af, you put dark prince behind king tower and try to predict when the opponent will use goblin barrel. The DP will wipe out all the goblins with one swing if timed correctly.
