Card Roles[]

Ice Golem: Tanks for everything relevant. On defence it should be paired with Cannon. Or pair with Lumberjack to kill supports. Great tank for Balloon and Lumberjack, especially with rage.
Lumberjack: Cuts things down to size. Shreds the common cards found in Sudden Death such as all goblins in general, Miner, Archers and Hog Riders. Primary goal is to rush towers with Balloon because he destroys Archers and Musketeers. Also lowers the health of Inferno Towers until the Balloon comes along and 1-shots it.
Balloon: The bomb must reach the Tower. That is your only concern, to destroy the enemy tower. Use Rage, Lumberjack and Ice Golem to blitz the enemy and catch them off-guard. Of course, Arrows are your safe-guard against Bats and Minions. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
Rage: Make haste! Overwork your troops and make them reach the enemy tower much faster. Good luck reacting to a 50km/h Lumberjack or a Balloon flying as fast as a Lumberjack. The great thing is, it makes Lumberjack able to kill all glass canons in 3 seconds and easily let's him carve through goblins. Should only be used to rush the enemy.
Ice Spirit: Freezes the enemy while you attack them. Great for quick rushes with Spear Goblins and Lumberjack. If they don't defend or physically can't, smash the rage spell and bathe in glorious dps. Primarily used on offence, especially when the enemy has cards such as Ice Wizard. Great for bluffs. But they're not really bluffs if they deal over 1000 damage.
Spear Goblins: Possibly the 4th worst air defence but you can't complain. Cycle cards, deal chip damage, try to kill balloons, etc. Always pair with a tank, even if that tank happens to be a cannon or your own Tower. Unless you're countering Minions. Adapt to the situation.
Cannon: The only reason why Hog Rider won't kill you. The idea is to distract pesky giants or Hogs while you rush the other side because your dps is much higher than the opponents. Unless they run Goblin/Minion/Battle Ram and Miner rush. But you have Arrows so everything will be ok. Btw, did I mention you should always play this at the beginning? That way, you don't get instantly beaten if they rush you before you rush them.
Arrows: Counters all the high dps swarm cards that are so often encountered in Sudden Death. Also protects your Balloon from pesky Minions and Bats. Provided they don't have any of the aforementioned you should reserve this for killing goblins or finishing off Musketeers and the like. Basically all dps cards. Also, people usually get greedy so if you play an Ice Golem to stall, they'll probably pump more stuff into the push to damage.

Strategy[]

Basically, if they run cycle, stall and then arrow. If they run beatdown, wait for key cards such as Witch, Mega Knight or Wizard to make an appearance before rushing. After that, keep on rushing. Jobs a good'n.

Also, if there happens to be a Lava Hound literally spam laugh emotes and rush the other side asap. But it might be wise to save the arrows. For minions or lava pups.

Speaking of emotes, the enemy can't react if they are responding to your emotes.

Rush the Tower[]

If you do not rush the tower asap, then you lose. I guarantee it. The first rush is always the strongest, because just like the SPANISH INQUISITION, nobody expects it.

  • Ice Golem+Balloon+Rage
  • Lumberjack+Balloon+Rage
  • Ice Spirit+Lumberjack+Rage
  • Ice Spirit+Lumberjack+Spear Goblins+Rage
  • Ice Spirit+Spear Goblins+Rage
  • Literally any combination of Ice Golem, Ice Spirit, Lumberjack, Balloon, Rage and Spear Goblin as long as it does not exceed 12 Elixir. That's right, 12 Elixir because you don't have to play rage straight away.

Bluff then Crush[]

After the first two rushes, you will only encounter the strongest defences. Perhaps you will destroy them on the 3rd or 4th but there is no guarantee. So you have to be snekky snek. Bait the main defences. There's no harm in throwing a bottle of rage at if it looks like the damage will be good.
