Card Mastery is a feature in Clash Royale that rewards players for completing certain actions with Cards in Battle. It functions similarly to the former Quests and Achievements features. Depending on the task, players can earn duplicate Cards, Gold, and Gems. All tasks reward a certain amount of Experience. Upon unlocking a Card's Mastery, or completing a Mastery Task, a special badge is displayed on the player's profile, with different appearances depending on the number of Mastery Tasks that have been completed for the card. Card Mastery is unlocked upon reaching King Level 7. Card Mastery tasks cannot be completed in the Training Camp, Friendly Battles, or Private Tournaments under any circumstances.
Card Mastery Tasks
To unlock Card Mastery Tasks, one must first win 5 battles with the Card in question and have the card at a certain Level, depending on its rarity. New sets of tasks are unlocked at subsequent Card Levels. Generally speaking, subsequent sets of tasks have higher or more specific completion requirements. Each task set has three tasks.

2022
- Card Mastery was added to the game on 30/3/2022, in the Miner Update.
- On 1/4/2022, an Optional Update, fixed a visual bug showing the wrong amount of Gold after completing a Mastery Task.
- On 27/6/2022, the Summer 2022 Update, added new Card Mastery tasks for certain cards and made it so that the progress on Card Mastery tasks after battle would fade quicker. It also fixed a bug where Mastery progress notifications canceled Tournament matchmaking.
- On 26/10/2022, the 2022 Quarter 3 Update, added new Card Mastery tasks for certain cards.
2023
- On 19/6/2023, the Card Evolution Update, added new Card Mastery tasks for certain cards. It also changed the reward of the third Level of the second task to award Gold instead of Gems.
- On 13/12/2023, the Tower Troop Update, fixed a crash caused by claiming multiple Card Masteries.

- Many of the Card Mastery tasks' names are references to pop culture.
- "Rage of Empires" and "Assassin's Greed" are references to the Age of Empires and Assassin's Creed games series respectively.
- "Magnificent, Aren't They?" is a reference to a quote mentioned in Star Wars Attack of the Clones, when Obi-Wan Kenobi was inspecting the mysterious clone army.
- "Get Over Here!" is a reference to a quote mentioned by Scorpion in Mortal Kombat.
- "Pain's An Old Friend" is a reference to a quote mentioned by Dr. Strange.
- "I'm Throwing Rocks Tonight!" is a reference to a quote from The Big Lebowski.
- The icon of the "Healer" Card Mastery task resembles the Heal spell.
- Despite the Ice Spirit's Card Mastery task being "Speed Limit", it does not slow down enemies, instead it stuns them.
- Certain Card Mastery tasks incorrectly state that some cards can progress their objectives. These are likely due to being taken from other cards who have these tasks and can progress them. More specifically:
- The Royal Giant, Giant, Hog Rider, Royal Hogs, and Elixir Golem, cannot progress the Damage Dealer task by dealing damage to troops due to them only targeting buildings.
- The Battle Ram and Ram Rider cannot progress the CHARGE!!! task by hitting troops with their charge.
