The Cannon's Evolution is a Common card that is unlocked with 6 Evolution Shards. It spawns a Cannon with identical stats to the original. After deployment, the Cannon shoots 9 cannonballs in 2 rows, 5 on the top row and 4 on the bottom, which deals area damage and inflicts knockback. It appears as a large, dark metal barrel atop a glowing purple metal plate, mounted on top of a wooden platform with glowing purple metal legs and supports reinforced with gold chains, with a purple muzzle, two team-colored ridges on the rear with a Card Evolution symbol in between, and a metal wing attached to both sides. The Cannon's Evolution costs 3 Elixir and requires 2 cycles to deploy.
Strategy[]
- The Evolved Cannon can be used offensively to snipe buildings and troops on the opponents side of the Arena.
- The knock back can push units towards the Cannon, making it great on defense.
- When a tower is down, placing the Cannon on the opponent's side would actually hit the other towers (however, it does reduced damage to them, but this is still beneficial, especially during Sudden Death).
- Against the Evolved Goblin Barrel, the Evolved Cannon can prevent all but one hit on either Crown Tower when using the Tower Princess. However, it has to be placed in front of the King Tower to do this, which will prevent it from distracting any other incoming troop, either from the Evolved Goblin Barrel push or from follow-up attacks.

- On 8/1/2025, a Balance Update, increased the Evolved Cannon's Barrage damage by 10%.
- On 4/3/2025, a Balance Update, increased the Evolved Cannon's attack time interval to 1 second (from 0.9 second).
- On 5/5/2025, the May 2025 Update, decreased the Evolved Cannon's Barrage radius to 2 tiles (from 2.5 tiles).
- On 1/12/2025, a Balance Update decreased the Evolved Cannon's Barrage damage by 8%. This made it unable to kill Archers or Firecrackers.

- The word "Cannon" comes from the Akkadian word "𒄀" (qanû), meaning reed. Cannons were invented in China during the twelfth century. It was most likely developed in parallel or as an evolution of an earlier gunpowder weapon called the fire lance. Cannons were used for warfare by the late thirteenth century in the Yuan dynasty and spread throughout Eurasia in the fourteenth century. During the late Middle Ages, large and small cannons were developed for siege and field battles. The cannon replaced prior siege weapons such as the trebuchet. After the late Middle Ages, most large cannons were abandoned in favor of greater numbers of lighter, more maneuverable field artillery.
- The Evolved Cannon's ability is inspired by the Eagle Artillery from Clash of Clans, similarly to its wings.
- Among all evolved buildings that can attack, the Evolved Cannon is tied with Tesla for the shortest range of all buildings, with a range of 5.5 tiles.
- Although Cannons themselves can only target ground troops, the King Tower's cannon can target both air and ground troops. This might be because the cannon is elevated on the tower.
- The Cannon is unavailable in multiple special game modes. More specifically:
- It is 1 of 20 cards that is unavailable in Mirror mode, the others being Minions, Mortar, Tesla, Goblin Hut, Tombstone, Bomb Tower, Inferno Tower, Barbarian Hut, Furnace, Elixir Collector, Freeze, Clone, X-Bow, Golden Knight, Skeleton King, Archer Queen, Mighty Miner, Little Prince, and the Monk.
- It is unavailable in The Floor is Healing sub-mode of the Global Spell game mode, much like other building cards, as well as the Cannon Cart.
- The Cannon’s Evolution is the subject of an Emote.
- The initial balance change for Evolved Cannon on the 4/3/2025 balance changes was a 6% damage decrease, but it was changed to an attack time interval increase to 1 second (from 0.9 seconds) last minute.
- Before the Cannon Evolution's release, it was made it so that the Evolved Cannon's barrage damage would only deal 25% of its full damage to Crown Towers.
