“Burps big fireballs that deal damage in a wide area”
The Baby Dragon is a card that belongs in the
Fire and
Blaster traits. It spawns an area-damage ranged troop with moderate hitpoints, very high damage, and very slow attack speed. The Baby Dragon takes the appearance of a small, spring green dragon with short, stubby, sky blue wings, ears, spikes, tongue, hands and feet, brown eyes, and yellow sclera. A Baby Dragon card costs 4
to deploy.
Strategy[]
- Due to his massive splash area, the Baby Dragon can deal with enemy set-ups pretty quickly, especially due to his high damage. However, that is evened out by his very slow attack speed, which means that he takes time to rack up damage on multiple troops.
- Baby Dragon is great for helping troops that struggle with multiple enemies on the field due to slow attack speed or low damage, like Knight, P.E.K.K.A., Mega Knight, Golden Knight, and Skeleton King.
Assassin is a great way to counter him, because not only does it target Baby Dragon and other ranged units first, defeating him before his damage racks up, but also because it separates those troops with other troops from the set-up, minimizing the amount of targets who take splash damage from Baby Dragon. Princess can also achieve this due to targeting the furthest away enemy in her sight range.- Activating Baby Dragon's
Fire trait allows him to deal more damage when he defeats a troop. Due to his very slow attack speed, he should be supported with troops that deal notable damage, tank for him, or have a high attack speed, so that Baby Dragon has increased chances of defeating a troop for the damage buff. - Activating his
Blaster trait allows him to stay further in the back due to the increased range, while also dealing more damage to his targets due to the damage per distance effect. As Baby Dragon's splash area is big, he can hit units even further away from his target, dealing even more damage and defeating them even quicker.
